Step by step procedure to create elliptical component drawing using AutoCAD software

1. Type "EL" command and press enter key. then select axis endpoint of ellipse(anywhere in the workspace) and then move mouse upwards and enter 100 as minor height and move mouse left wards then enter 150 as major and press enter key.

2. draw a center line and offset it to "6" units up and down then offset the ellipse too. Now draw a "38" mm line from center line. Then create a circle of "51" mm diameter using end of the "38" mm line.

3. Now draw another circle with 38 mm radius then extend the lines.

4. Now trim the extra lines.

5. Do fillets with 6 mm radius.

6. Create another circle with "44" mm diameter and draw a center line to the circles and do offset to the line with 4 mm.

7. Trim extra lines and do the polar array .

8. Trim the extra lines. Then see the final drawing.
