How to create a simple helicopter in Solidworks

1. First select front plane as reference then create a sketch like below shown to generate Cockpit.

2. Then extrude the sketch both sides of the created plane.

3. Then make shell with 2 mm thickness.

4. Now create tall boom shape using extrude feature (use draft angle).

5. Now add material by using extrude feature for rotor mast and create Rudder.

6. Now draw a rectangle on front face then remove material using extrude cut feature.

7. Now create rotor shaft shape using extrude feature.

8. Now create rotor blade on top surface of rotor shaft. Then make circular pattern of the rotor blade as 4 wing's.

9. Now create another tail rotor shaft and tail rotor blades like shown below by using extrude and circular pattern feature.

10. Now create remaining landing skid by using sweep and extrude features.

11. Finally complete the helicopter as single part looks like below.
