AutoCAD offers a wide range of tools to help designers create precise and detailed drawings. In this post, we’ll focus on the Offset, Trim, and Ellipse commands. These commands are essential for creating complex shapes, refining designs, and adding unique elements to your drawings. Don’t miss the practice drawings and work request details at the end!
1. Offset Command
The Offset command creates parallel copies of objects at a specified distance, making it an essential tool for creating consistent designs.
How to Use the Offset Command:
- Type
OFFSET

- Type
ELLIPSE
orEL
in the command bar and press Enter. - Specify the center or one of the axes’ endpoints.
- Define the other axis by clicking or entering a value.
